What a lookup returns
A postal code is rarely one place. Depending on the country it can cover a single street, a whole town, or several towns at once — so the lookup hands you the answer in three steps instead of one flat list.

| postal code | Every city or locality that uses this postal code, with the number of addresses in each. When only one city uses it, you skip straight to the streets. |
| city | Every street in that city under this postal code, with the number of addresses on each. |
| street | The house numbers on that street, each as a full line: house number, street, postal code and city. |
The same address records are what the Address Validation API and the Geocoding API read, so what you see here is what your integration will get.
Countries in the lookup
Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States.
