Acuris builds its own reference database from authoritative sources, with United Kingdom validation running against the official Royal Mail PAF (Postcode Address File) — Acuris is a licensed Royal Mail solutions provider. 240+ countries are live across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific — including support for non-Latin scripts (Cyrillic, Hangul, Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Greek). Major markets — North America, the UK, Germany, France, the Nordics, Benelux, Italy, Spain — refresh monthly; other countries refresh quarterly. If a specific country is critical for your use case, contact support@acuris-geo.com to ask about its update timeline.
Acuris validates and geocodes addresses across 240+ countries, with point coordinates across our priority markets — North America, Germany, France, the Nordics, Benelux, and most of Western Europe. A point coordinate belongs to one address: either a rooftop point on the building, or an arrival point — the entrance or access point where a driver actually arrives. Outside the priority set, accuracy degrades transparently: street-interpolated, street-centroid, postcode-centroid, or locality-centroid as the underlying data permits. Every response includes an explicit accuracy_type field so you always know what you got.
United Kingdom — validated against the official Royal Mail PAF (Postcode Address File), where Acuris is a licensed solutions provider. The standard transactional packages cover 240+ supported countries; UK validation is a separate commercial track with its own pricing. Contact sales@acuris-geo.com to get set up.

Every country is graded by the maximum precision it supports — the same way Loqate, Precisely and HERE grade coverage. Two independent axes: 📍 geocoding (how accurate the coordinate is) and 🏢 address validation (how fine the address can be resolved — down to the sub-unit / apartment for a few markets). Precision is the best level reached in a country; completeness varies within each country.
Point coordinate = a coordinate for one address, either a rooftop point or an arrival point (the property's entrance or access point). Everything below it is derived rather than observed: interpolated along a street, or the centre of a street, postcode or locality. Each country card below shows its two badges: 📍 geocoding precision and 🏢 address precision.
Every address in the US, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the UK, Finland, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Sweden, Luxembourg and Hong Kong that resolves to a house number and street-accurate match comes back enriched with the standard government geographic codes — included free, from public open data. In France we also return building attributes from IGN BD TOPO®. No separate append step, no per-record fee.
Returned on house-number- and street-accurate matches only (blank for centroid-only results and other countries); French building attributes require a rooftop-accurate match.
