Everything a Dutch address workflow needs

Validation

Deliverable to the house number

All 10.4M records carry a house number, so you validate and correct to the exact huisnummer, standardize the 1234 AB postcode and straat, and flag what changed — not a postcode-only guess.

Geocoding

Rooftop & entrance coordinates

Each address returns access-point and point coordinates for delivery routing, service areas and mapping.

Administrative

Gemeente & provincie, resolved

Every match returns the municipality (gemeente) and province — useful for tax, shipping zones and territory analysis across all Dutch provinces.

Your data

Keep your results

Store and reuse validated Dutch addresses for your own internal business use — no 30-day-delete rule, no "no repository" clause, exactly what the mapping APIs forbid. See the comparison →

Reference · the Dutch address format

How Dutch addresses are structured

Straat + huisnummerDam 1 — street name then house number (with optional toevoeging, e.g. 12-A or 12 bis).
Postcode1012 JS — four digits, a space, then two letters. The postcode + number alone identifies a Dutch address.
PlaatsAmsterdam — the town/city (woonplaats).
Gemeente / ProvincieThe municipality and one of 12 provinces (e.g. Noord-Holland) — resolved and returned.
Straight answers

Dutch address validation, answered

How complete is the Dutch coverage? +
10.4 million house-number-level records across every gemeente and all 12 provinces. Each record has a house number, so validation resolves to the exact address, not the postcode or town.
Does it handle the 1234 AB postcode format? +
Yes. Dutch postcodes (four digits + two letters) are standardized and validated, and because the postcode plus house number uniquely identifies a Dutch address, matching is highly reliable even from partial input at checkout.
Do I get coordinates? +
Yes — rooftop and access-point. Every validated Dutch address returns latitude/longitude for routing, mapping and service-area analysis, which you can store for internal use.
Can I clean and store my Dutch order database? +
Yes — that's exactly the use case. Batch-validate your existing Dutch addresses and keep the corrected results for your own internal business use. Unlike Google, HERE or Mapbox's free tiers (which forbid storing results), Acuris lets you retain them; you simply can't resell or redistribute the data. See the storage-rights comparison →
